A lesson at the park

It was a nice sunny day yesterday, so I took the kids on a walk to the park. There were about 5 10-11 year old girls there and true to pre-teen form, they were arguing back and forth across the playground. This is what I heard back and forth:

"Get out of my house!"
"Stop! I have a headache!"
"Didn't I tell you that I have a headache? Do you know what that means?"

As Andy and I quietly swung on the swings I felt really bad for these girls. It seems to me that these are statements that they probably hear over and over in their homes, and I thought to myself, "If Andy were at the park by himself, what would other mothers over hear him parroting from home?"

I have no doubt Andy would only be saying sweet, nice things! That is a sad story though.
